PLANNING EVENTS

Since our chapter encompasses a fairly wide territory, we plan to hold smaller, more regional events throughout the year, and one major yearly event to be held in a central location.  We hope this will make it easier for people to attend the smaller events, and still feel 'connected' to the chapter! 

Please know that all events are 'total participation' events, meaning we'd love input from YOU!!  What are your interests - conformation showing, obedience, herding, CGC testing, puppy training tips, or just plain partying!  We want this to be your chapter, and encourage as much participation from you, the members, as you're willing to give!  Do you know of a great location for an event?  A park in the mountains, or a dog-friendly beach?  Do some research, and find out what it would take to host an event there!  Know any trainers, behaviorists, etc., who would be willing to come and do a demo/lecture?

**********We would like to plan an event for the fall, and are hoping to find a spot perhaps in mid-Georgia, which is more central to most of our members.  If anyone knows of a nice dog-friendly state or city park, please let me know!
